Nokia N8-00 Photos, Specs Leaked ! 12MP Camera Confirmed ! Runs on Symbian^3 ??!

Thanks to the vigilance of IT168, we now have actual photos of what could be the first flagship release and first Symbian^3 phone of Nokia this year -- the previously rumored Nokia N8-00 !!

Here are some photos from the set hand-picked by yours truly:











As we can see from these shots, the device has a quite sizable screen -- at least 3.5 inches across, possibly up to 4 inches. The back panel shows that the phone dons a 12 MegaPixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash. Contrary to earlier reports though, it looks like the phone won't have a slide-out QWERTY keypad.

Thoughts on the design and form factor of the phone?

I think this device is definitely better looking than a lot phones recently released by Nokia. However, it's also far from being the sleekest phone you can get these days. Design-wise, this phone has got nothing on flagship releases by other companies like the iPhone 3GS and Google Nexus One.

Nokia N8-00 Release date? Price?

Rumored release date is September 2010. No word on pricing yet.
