LG Optimus GT540 Android Phone - Php 12,900 Only, Specs, Promo Video
LG brings the most affordable Android phone in its global handset line-up to the Philippines.
"LG Optimus GT540 is the ideal choice for early smartphone users who expect all the features of smartphones without the complexity," shares Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. "This is a device that was designed for regular people who want to jump into the smartphone experience but have been hesitant to do so because of the learning curve. By making LG Optimus more approachable, we hope more people will give smartphones a try."
As an Android phone, LG Optimus GT540 delivers the full benefits of Google's mobile internet package. With an automatically synchronised Google account, users need to only log-in once to enjoy Gmail, Gtalk, Google Maps and YouTube, among others. 82,234 (and counting) applications and games, which users can use to expand their LG Optimus experience, are also waiting to be downloaded from the Android Market.
LG Optimus includes top-notch entertainment features that make the phone totally fun to use. Its media player allows users to watch DivX and Xvid videos directly without separate encoding while 3D thumbnail gallery offers great multimedia browsing experience. Expect these features to run smoothly -- thanks to the phone's 600Mhz Qualcomm CPU.
LG Optimus GT540's 3MP camera supports geo-tagging, auto face-tagging and face-to-action technology. The built-in video editor, on the other hand, comes with storyboard function that lets users add music and text to videos directly on the phone.
Practically all connectivity options you'll ever need these days are covered. There's Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G HSDPA 7.2MBps and GPS with assisted GPS support.
Once connected to the internet, conveniently access and manage your multiple social networking accounts via LG Optimus GT540's SN Manager. LG's dedicated Social Networking Client allows users to easily keep track of their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Moreover, Social Networking System (SNS) widgets feeds real-time status updates directly to the home screen.
LG Optimus GT540 boasts a distinctive design that is both soft and sleek and is available in a variety of colors, including black, pink and silver. What’s more, the phone includes a long-lasting 1500mAh battery, 130 MB of internal storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD slot that supports up to 32GB (ships with 2GB), and four customisable home screen themes together with enhanced idle lock screen notifications.
