Bluetooth 2.2 Could be Out by Mid-2009

Great news for those who demand for really fast and reliable wireless connections:

CNET has just disclosed that Bluetooth 2.2 could finally see the light of day come mid-09. This new version of the device is made to work in tandem with other wireless technologies; specifically Bluetooth 10x for working with Wifi and 100x for UWB (Ultrawide Band).

Tandems, partnerships -- darn it, looks like Bluetooth won't be so Blue anymore! Haha. :P
