HP Pavilion DV2 Philippines - Price, Specs, Promo Video
Hewlett Packard, via Pavilion DV2, just became the first notebook company to release an AMD Neo powered laptop. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) regards the Athlon Neo or AMD Neo as its specialized ultrathin notebook platform.
AMD Neo is a dual-core processor usually paired with either ATI Radeon X1250 graphics or ATI Radeon HD3410 graphics. As such, this AMD processor easily beats the Intel Atom processor of ubiquitous netbooks -- Read AMD Neo vs. Intel Atom via the link.
Weighing in at just 3.8 lbs, Pavilion DV2 is a formidable competitor to other ultraportables like the Macbook Air and the upcoming Dell Adamo. Moreso when you consider the fact that DV2 sells for just $699 (stripped down) as opposed to around $1500 for the Macbook Air. Yep, DV2 costs just a bit more than your low-power netbook.
