Panasonic's New Shockproof Digicam
Truly living up to its solid reputation of creating the most ruggedized gadgets known to Man, Panasonic unveiled yesterday the Lumix DMC-FT1 : It's new shockproof, dustproof and waterproof digital camera.
DMC-FT1 was tested with the same standards and benchmarks used to assess the quality of Panasonic's legendary Toughbook line. FT1 features an airtight body clad in rubber, glass and carbon resin, which resists both water and sand ~ for when you want to shoot at the beach. The solid construction of the camera also makes it drop-proof from a height of 1.3 meters.

28-129mm equivalent lens,
2.7" LCD,
Intelligent Auto Mode,
Optical Image Stabilizer and
