Creating Blogger Tagcloud
Jackie de Leon from Alpharetta, Georgia emailed us this request earlier:
Dear TechPinas, I'd like to know how you made your Blogger label tag cloud. It looks cool. I've been looking for articles on how to make one but haven't had any luck. Thanks!
Hi Jackie!
Actually, I just followed a tutorial from FRIVMO on how to create a Blogger tagcloud.
It's simple, really. All you have to do is to FIRST, install a Label widget on your blog. Click Layout tab on your Blogger dashboard, Open your Template, go to Page Elements, then click “Add a Gadget.” Scroll down and click the blue (+) button beside Labels to add it to your blog then save.
After installing Labels, do this:
1. Open Edit HTML and back up your current template by downloading it.
2. In the Edit HTML box, look for a line that reads like this:
<b:widget id='Label1' locked='false' title='Labels' type='Label'/>
Yours might look a bit different but it'd help to just search for 'Label1' to find the code.
3. Copy the long code in FRIVMO.
4. Replace the first the line you found (in step 2) with the whole code from step 3
5. Preview and if everything works fine, Save.
Enjoy your TagCloud!
