The release of Macbook Pro 17" has been delayed to at least February 19th.
Quoting Apple's email to pre-order costumers:

"wrapping up the new 17-inch MacBook Pro is taking a few days longer than we projected,"

2 weeks ain't that long. Patience is a virtue.
And Apple, we expect to be rewarded -- well.
