Philippine Bank Codes for Paypal and UnionBank Withdrawal Options

Karla Maganto from Quezon City emailed us this inquiry last night:

"Dear TechPinas, I'm an online graphic design freelancer and my clients in the US pay me in dollars via Paypal. I've been receiving payments since May 2008 but I haven't actually tried withdrawing any amount to my local bank just yet -- I'd like to do that now. I've been checking out Paypal's withdrawal process since the first time I received payment and I'm already quite familiar with it save for 2 small things: TechPinas, I'd like to know Unionbank's Bank Code and since I already have a Unionbank EON Card, do I have the option to withdraw directly to my Unionbank savings account instead of to my card? Thanks in advance!"

Now, regarding your second concern: Yes, you have the option to withdraw your Paypal fund via Unionbank Savings Account if you already have an Eon Card. Most EON card holders do this because Paypal charges $5 if withdrawals are made via Debit or Credit card. Your Savings/Bank Account number is located on the lower left corner of the front panel of your Eon Card starting with 1094[...]. It takes around 5-7 days to complete local bank withdrawal.

    good day. im sherwin montejo of lucena city, quezon, philipines. my problem encountered during the application of paypal account is when i link my card to paypal is the computer keeps on answering the same question which is "This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department." hope you could help me. thank you

    Hi,

    I tried to withdraw some bucks from paypal to my unionbank account, but unfortunately I didn't received it in my eon account. It's been one month late :(

    It's quite odd that everytime I called the customer service for unionbank they can't answer me directly.. they keep on passing me to paypal and so as paypal's customer service

    That's odd. Normally it takes just 3-5 business days to complete Paypal - Unionbank transfer.

    Are you sure you put your correct bank account number in the box provided?

    Please check.

    This happened to me too. But I'm sure about the information I've passed to paypal and Unionbank are correct.I emailed paypal regarding the problem.. But not Unionbank. Hopefully my money will just bounce bank to my Paypal.. :(

    can anyone advice me on this, please, i dont know where my money is right now.

    i withdrew my funds from paypal to my union bank account last Feb 22, 2010.
    payment status was completed on that same day(paypal).
    but until now, i havent received anything.
    im also sure that i provided correct informations on paypal.
