Apple Looking for Netbook Manufacturer ?
Looks like the Apple Netbook idea is slowly inching its way into reality.
Commercial Times, a Chinese-language publication, is citing sources within the PC supply industry saying that Foxconn Electronics or Hon Hai Precision Industry "is in the running to land orders for a netbook from Apple."

Last Month, Commercial Times also reported that Wintek, a Taiwanese LCD manufacturing company, has signed a contract to supply Apple with touch panels and hinted that the screens might be used for netbooks.
Apple has yet to make announcements or confirmations on the issue - but Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, has stated in the past that [Apple doesn't] know how to make a $500 computer that's not a piece of junk.
