Gundam Statue in Japan, Complete!
Remember our report last month about the ginormous Gundam statue being built in Japan?

Here's the great follow-up: It's now done! Yep, less than a month after the Japanese started building it. Check it out:

Totally life-size! This is a 1:1 scale model of the classic RX-78-2 Gundam mecha.

Clearly kick-as$! In celebration of 30 years of Gundam, the Japanese has decided to create a massive biped statue of the anime robot at Shiokaze Park in Tokyo, Japan. When completed, it will stand 59-feet tall, weigh a whopping 35 tons and even shoot "light or mist" from 50 different body points. If this isn't dope, I don't know what is!
