Will HTC Hero reach our shores?
We're still awaiting word from HTC Philippines. But off hand, we sure hope so because this cellphone has HOT written all over it! Presenting HTC Hero :
Launched in London today, Hero is HTC's newest smartphone. It is the company's third cellphone model running on Google's Android operating system.
There are a lot of things that make HTC Hero quite cool - its form factor, the fact that it runs on Android, etc - but what makes this phone truly special is that it features HTC's new "Scenes" User Interface
What is Scenes UI?
On the outside, the Phone features a 3.2-inch HVGA screen with fingerprint-resistive coating, an industry-first Teflon back panel (yup, similar to non-stick pans) that keeps the unit grime free. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack, G-sensor, a compass, a 5 megapixel auto-focus cam with microSD expansion slot.
HTC Hero runs on a Qualcomm 528MHz MSM7200A processor and 512MB/288MB ROM/RAM. It features 900/2100MHz HSPA and Quad-band GSM, GPS and 802.11b/g WiFi.

A new Scenes profile feature lets you transform your phones focus from business to weekend mode. Viewing your contacts shows the usual data in addition to the interactions you've had through social networking status updates and photos from the likes of Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, and Twitter.[via]
