Samsung Corby S3653,
a New Addition to Samsung’s Full Touch line-up.

Samsung Mobile once again wows consumers with a new full-touch mobile phone, the Samsung Corby. This new mobile phone is specifically created for the young and the young-at-heart. It will reshape the way touch-screen phones are designed with its more sensual lines.

The Samsung Corby (model: S3653), a full touch-screen phone featuring a radical design, is expected to hit the Philippine market this end-September.



The Corby stands out with its stylish and distinctive curved design, which contrasts with the typical rectangular form-factor of other touch-screen phones.

The device represents a complete makeover for the youth segment, with its eye-catching profile featuring two-tone diagonal lines. The Samsung Corby is notable for both its body design and colors; which mark a significant break from the way full touch phones are usually designed.

“With the Corby, Samsung is making a bigger foray into the youth market. Given that existing full touch-screen models are tailored for businesspeople, we are aiming to gain a growing presence in the market by attracting younger consumers,” Younghee Lee, Vice President of Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics said.

This approach is a significant expansion for Samsung, which re-emphasize Samsung’s ‘Touch for every lifestyle’ strategy. Samsung has introduced a variety of full touch mobiles throughout the year from Jet, a mobile with brilliant touch performance, to Omnia II, the all-in-one redefined smartphone. Samsung Corby is now attracting the younger generation with its unique curvy design, cheerfully colored back cover, and specialized feature for social networking. Corby supports popular social networking sites, including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. It also contains entertainment access features and a special user interface.

“To tap into the rapidly growing touch-screen phone market, Samsung continues to unveil a diverse product line in that aims to secure its market leadership down the road,” Younghee Lee added.

The Samsung Corby will be available in four colors: Yellow, Orange, White and Pink.
