Acer : Number One PC Brand in the Philippines !
According to the latest ratings report released by computer industry research specialist , Gartner, Acer is now the number one overall PC brand in the Philippines.
Acer landed on the top spot after shipping a total of 63,292 computer units to the Philippines for the second quarter of this year on top of the 54,954 units shipped during the first quarter.
This gave Acer an 11.9 percent share in the market and a 109.2 percent growth rate.
Acer Philippines Inc. General Manager, Manuel Wong, credits the success of the company to its brand awareness efforts,
“We’re happy that the long hours spent by the Acer sales and marketing team to come up with exciting ways to generate more awareness about Acer products among our target markets was truly worth it. Plus, our partners did their part as well in spreading the good word about Acer. It was truly a team effort,”
