Google Doodle Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street !
Today, Google is joining the world in celebrating the 40th Anniversary of one of the most loved children's educational shows in history, Sesame Street, via a new doodle:
Credit: Google
The doodle features the very recognizable ringed legs of Big Bird, one of the most popular Sesame Street muppets created by Jim Henson, the leading force, visionary and genius behind Sesame Street.
Unlike previous Doodles, this one tells you exactly what it celebrates -- so it cuts the viewer guesswork. All you have to do is to hover mouse over image and a text box showing you doodle details will pop out. I believe this will be doodle trend from now on.
*thumbs up*

I've never seen Google stick with one theme on their homepage so long as they have with Sesame Street

ReplyDelete@ Greg Delaney, I agree.
ReplyDeleteI was curious about why one Sesame Street doodles have been going on for so long. For me, it looks like 2009 has many more doodles than previous years.
Anyway, I think they're interesting.
