Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Runs on Android - Photo, Specs, Promo Video
It took Sony Ericsson a while to warm up but once back in fighting form, it proves to be a force to reckon with - still.
SE's newest phone in its flagship line, the Xperia X10 ( codename: Rachel ) looks nothing short of amazing, IMO:

Unlike it's two Xperia predecessors, X10 is not a slider and as such, doesn't feature a full QWERTY keypad. However, as seen in the photos, it makes up for it with a rather ginormous 4" 480 x 854 pixels WVGA scratch-resistant capacitive touchscreen - A perfect complement to its great User Interface and Android 1.6 OS. Here's the official promo video of X10, which will you give you a sneak peek of what the new UI looks like:
Nice, eh?
Here are the other specs:
1ghz Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon platform processor
HSPA-speeds up to 7.2 Mbps
8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and a secondary camera in front
8GB MicroSD card
3D graphics support
GPS,
Wifi,
BlueTooth
3.5 mm jack connector
mini-USB connector
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is expected to ship sometime during the first quarter of 2010. The projected price range is around $780 - 850 or more or less P 40,000 .
UPDATE: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is now available in the Philippines with a price tag of roughly Php 32,000
