Techpinas, mas ok ba openline o I buy from smart and unlock it by myself using software better?
I'm a constant reader TP and yes, I've been eyeing sa Corbypro pero I read this new post. Wondering po kuya, what would be a most likely longer lasting and worthy sa money and I will be a college student next year. So the phone would most likely be used for 3-4 years. :) Salamat sa pag rereply po. =)
ReplyDeleteHi Chayie!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inquiry!
IMO, if you want an unlocked BB, buy it unlocked. :) Mahirap na.
Hi Mark!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out TP! :)
Based on my experience, Nokia phones are most durable and reliable. If durability and reliability are the only qualities you are looking for in your next phone (@ this price point), check out E63 or E71, N85 or N86. :)
I also like Corby Pro -- in fact, I might get one when it comes out. That phone looks hot and touchscreen + wifi + 3g + qwerty @ only Php12,000 is great.
:)
TP
since this is the "entry-level" blackberry grabe ang demand sa market. here is a short kwento about how many attempts I have had to buy this phone.
ReplyDeleteAttempt no. 1 - Smart Shockwave sale Greenhills theater mall - out of stock - December 23
Attempt no. 2 - my Dad checked out the same Shockwave sale December 24 - sabi the day before may stock na daw pero wala pa rin
Attempt no. 3 - SMART shockwave sale- Dec. 29 - wala raw stock pati Smart Business center sa greenhills wala daw. The same day somebody was selling openline sa greenhills 20k daw! super expensive naman...
Mga online store 2 turned down magdeliver to my house and then the third one I called nagdedeliver sa area ko pero out of stock daw...
Almost 10 attempts :( grabe frustrated na :( ayaw ko na yata. Hay TechPinas the BB 8520 review will have to wait until I can actually get my hands on an actual unit.

ReplyDeleteHi Chayie!
That's quite sad nga.
But that's your phone. Keep your eyes on the prize. :) Mapapasayo rin yan. :)
