The 2nd generation of RIM's award-winning touch-screen smartphone, the BlackBerry Storm 2 9550, is now out in the Philippines!



What so hot about Blackberry Storm 2 ?

The BlackBerry Storm2 features SurePress ™ technology, a touchscreen patent owned by RIM, which based on an electronic system that provides the Storm2 user with a tactile feedback when the capacitive touch-screen is pressed ( yep, like a resistive-capacitive touchscreen hybrid ).

SurePress responds equally to gentle pressure applied on any point on the surface of the screen and makes display clicks more accurate and more comfortable. The new SurePress technology is also smart. It allows the user to type a letter with one thumb even while their other thumb may still be touching another point or letter on the screen, enabling faster typing and multikey actions such as Shift-key or Alt-key combinations.
