Oh, OK.
Today saw the high-jacking of Twitter by this so-called Iranian Cyber Army.
I tried to research about the background and identity of this army to no avail as expected. But I guess we need not look any further than their high-jack message to know more about them. Reading the note, I - personally - infer that:
1. This is a group who wants to show the world that the Iranians are superior to the people of the United States of America, the Americans. (Are they really from Iran? We don't know for sure.)
Twitter is currently one of the biggest US-based websites and as such, it is also one of the more secure ones. By high-jacking it just like that, the Iranian Cyber Army wants to make it clear that if they wanted to, Iranians can infiltrate online security efforts made by Americans.
2. Despite this, the Iranian Cyber Army owns a Gmail account, the email service of Google. And Google is perhaps the biggest and most powerful American online service company as of today.
Interesting.
