DOLE Job Fair - Online Registration Procedure - Philippine Department of Labor and Employment Taps Online Media to Serve Filipinos Better!
TechPinas Public Service Post ~ TP PSP:
DOLE Job Fair (May 1, Labor Day) Online Registration Procedure
Great news for fresh grads or those who are actively looking for a job. Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) recently started online pre-registration via its job-matching internet facility, Phil-JobNet, for easier filing of job applications specifically for the Job and Livelihood Fairs happening on May 1. We've yet to hear confirmation from DOLE if this pre-registration will also apply to other upcoming job fairs being organized by the department -- though that's most likely the case.
Quoting a section of DOLE's press release:
It's good to know that public offices are now taking advantage of the internet and online media to make easier for practically everyone.

[...] Labor and Employment Secretary Marianito D. Roque [...] said jobseekers will now have a better chance of finding a job that will suit their qualifications as the processing of application documents has been made a lot easier and simpler.
He said that jobseekers will just have to log on to phil-job.net and they will be guided on the registration procedures.
Pre-registered applicants have to go on May 1 to the SMX Convention Center at Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City and to Halls 1 and 2 of the Megatrade Hall of SM Megamall from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Applicants will no longer have to fill out forms and endure the long queues as they will be given Identification Cards (ID) that will serve as their passes upon entering the Job Fair area.
Through online registration, employers will have ample time to look for their skills requirements, as applicant’s accounts will now be readily available for them to preview and preselect.
“Of course, walk in applicants will also be accepted and accommodated during the Job and Livelihood Fairs,” the Labor Chief added. “They will have to go to all job fairs venues to manually register.”
