Nokia Ovi Maps: How to Share Location on Facebook
You can now share your location on Facebook using Ovi Maps!
And it’s really easy and fun to do! If you wish so, you may also attach photos to your status location to make your posts more interesting.
Just follow these simple steps on how you can share your location on Facebook:
1. Open Ovi Maps:
1.a. If you already have an existing Ovi by Nokia account, simply download and install Maps from nokia.com.ph/maps. You can share your location directly from Maps. Just select or click on the Share Location icon or menu item.
1.b. If you don’t have an Ovi by Nokia account, visit www.ovi.com to create your account before downloading Ovi Maps.
2. Enter your login details: During the first time you use Ovi Maps, you would need to enter your Ovi by Nokia username and password and Facebook email and password when prompted. The application automatically saves your information so you don’t need to enter them every time you use the application.
3. Select where you are: Your Nokia device detects your real life location via GPS/A-GPS or network positioning. You may share the street address you are at or a nearby place or a favorite place saved on your Maps.
4. Enter your status: You can also let your Facebook contacts know what you are doing.
5. Attach a photo: To capture the moment and make it more memorable, you can also take a photo and share it with your family and friends.
