In a report that suggests that GMA duped the public into believing that holographic technology was used in their coverage of last Monday's elections, ABS-CBN's TV Patrol World last night disclosed that GMA merely employed rather primitive Chroma-key effect to create fake reporter holograms.
In stark contrast, ABS-CBN used Virtual Presence -- one of the many possible executions of Augmented Reality technology.

What's Virtual Presence?

How do you tale a picture of something behind a hologram?
ReplyDeleteI am trying to take a picture of something with a hologram over the top of it. The hologram is reflecting what is behind it. Is there something like a filter that will block the hologram from showing? Where do I buy one?

ReplyDeleteguyz, by the act that enriquez and soho stated that its a hologram per se and referred to the same technology CNN used sometime is already an indication of fraud and deceit, just surf the net for CNNs hologram and you'll read comments and CNN's being lambasted so i guess GMA's tech is also a fraud. lol.. im just speaking based on factual evidences proven in CNN's deceit so i guess it will apply to GMA. any comment on my comment is injoined or welcome and pls refute me.

ReplyDeleteAng pinag aawayan niyo ay ang method of delivery lang ng balita, nawala na siguro ang dapat talagang pag-awayan na "Credibility" ng isang balita ng isang network?
Parang cake, icing lang yang hologram(or whatever you call it) Ang gusto talagang malaman ay kung "masarap" ang cake!
Serbisyong totoo? yun ngang simpleng feature ng GMA, kasinungalingan pa, eh paano nalang sa ibang bagay?
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me how you ABS and GMA loyalists are so passionate about bashing each other. All networks are, in some way, biased. If you want real news, go live AM radio. One day, real-life, uncensored news will come through via user-run, live-streaming video forums. By then the bias of the TV networks will clearly show itself to everyone. Boo to all haters who have no respect for the free opinion of others!
