Manny Pacquiao : Sony Philippines Brand Ambassador for 3D Entertainment

Sony Philippines has chosen Legendary Philippine Boxing Hero and recently elected Saranggani Congressman, Manny 'PacMan' Pacquiao, to be its newest brand ambassador.



As the face of the popular Japanese brand in the Philippines, PacMan will help promote Sony's freshly unveiled 3D entertainment line, which includes Sony 3D TV, Sony NEX-5 camera and Sony PlayStation 3, among other products. To jumpstart the campaign, Mr. Takao Kuroda - President and Managing Director of Sony Philippines - gave the Boxing Hero a Sony 3D TV at a press conference yesterday, making PacMan the first individual in the Philippines to actually own the product.

I'm expecting the brand to go all out on this and milk every last drop out of the major investment. As such, you know, I believe it's but proper for us to start preparing ourselves for the Manny for Sony campaign materials that will surely be all over town in the coming months.
