Shortly after the team's victory over FEU Tamaraws in the recently concluded Game 1 of the 73rd Season UAAP Senior Men's Basketball Finals, the Ateneo Blue Eagles found themselves in the worldwide trending topics list of the popular social networking site, Twitter.
The defending champions completely dominated the game, keeping the rather lethargic FEU squad at bay. The final score was 72-49, in favor of Ateneo.
