We've just received information from our anonymous yet very reliable source that Cherry Mobile might roll out its first ever Android phone within the next few days.
Note that Cherry hasn't given us any word to confirm the veracity of this passed on info. Nonetheless, we'll be meeting up with Cherry Mobile next Monday; So rest assured that we'll have the confirmation (if there's need for one at all) by then.

UPDATE as of October 12, 2010 --
As it turned out, this report is pretty accurate. But the thing is, Cherry Mobile had not one but three Android phones awaiting release during the writing of this post. These three gorgeous phones were unveiled in last night's Cherry Mobile Beyond the Usual event held in A-Venue Makati.

Cherry Mobile phones are actually buy-able and something you can really flaunt to your friends, but their OS is still that of a china-phone, as some would call it. This new phone that they will release that is powered by Android may change people's perception about Cherry Mobile.
