Samsung has officially started rolling out Android 2.2 Froyo update for all Samsung Galaxy S units.

Firmware update can be done via Samsung Kies. All you have to do is connect your phone to your computer, launch Samsung Kies and hit the Firmware Update button to see if you're among the lucky ones to be included in the first wave of updates. But if not, don't get too frustrated -- wider availability should come in a matter of days.

Samsung has decided to pull out Froyo update for Samsung Galaxy S perhaps due to bugs. Samsung UK twitted that updates will be done in early November instead.
Firmware update can be done via Samsung Kies. All you have to do is connect your phone to your computer, launch Samsung Kies and hit the Firmware Update button to see if you're among the lucky ones to be included in the first wave of updates. But if not, don't get too frustrated -- wider availability should come in a matter of days.
