Apple iOS 4.3 : New Features Check! Coming Soon to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch!

Apple has just released iOS 4.3 beta for developers. And this can only mean that this new version of the mobile platform should be hitting consumers' supported iDevices pretty soon.

Here are some new features that are available on the beta version of iOS 4.3 that users can expect to see on the final release:

1. iOS 4.2 only brought AirPlay video support to built-in Apple apps. 4.3 will finally allow users to send videos from other apps or websites to an Apple TV.

2. 4.3 running on iPad will let users configure the side switch to be an orientation lock.

3. With iOS 4.3, users can turn their iPhone into a WiFi hotspot -- but this needs to be enabled on the carrier side.

4. iPod Touch users will see a new FaceTime icon.

5. This perhaps is the most exciting new feature;

Use four or five fingers to swipe left or right between apps, swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar or pinch to the home screen!
