At day 2 of Google I/O Conference held earlier this week in San Francisco CA, Peter Vesterbacka of ROVIO Mobile announced that Angry Birds will be officially available as a free add-on for the Google Chrome browser -- to the horror of the IT deps the world over.
Built from WebGL (using HTML5 instead of Flash), this online Beta version of Angry Birds offers a higher frame rate per second, HD option, plus levels exclusive to Google Chrome.
This means that fans of the smartphone game now need only open their Chrome browsers and click HERE to start playing.
