Samsung Android Phones - Midrange Line : Samsung AppNation Event Round-up
Samsung Event at Trinoma Event Center: APPNATION and GALAXY Family Unveiled – Price, Specs and Availability by TP Correspondent, Jade Bryan Jardinico
The other weekend, Samsung invaded Trinoma Mall with their Samsung APPNATION event and with the help of some of the hottest Pinoy celebs, the company unveiled four new Galaxy series smartphones.
While each phone comes with unique features that will suit different styles and needs, all flaunt a capacitive touchscreen and run Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.
First, let's start with the Samsung Galaxy Ace. This stylish phone has a 3.5” HVGA full touch screen, a 5MP camera with LED flash and a speedy 800MHz processor. Ace runs Android Froyo (2.2) giving users a gateway to thousands of applications from the Android Market. And to keep you updated and connected to the web, Samsung bundles latest wireless connectivity features with Ace like wider WiFi and Bluetooth access.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace is already available in stores and you can get it for P15,580.00 (Now only Php 14,490).
Next is Samsung Galaxy Fit designed for those who want to always stay connected with friends even while on the go. Fit has a 3.31-inch full touchscreen, a 5MP camera, 600MHz processor, and likewise runs Froyo. You can also store thousands of songs and photos with the microSD card supporting up to 16GB.
The Galaxy Fit is more affordable than Galaxy Ace at only P12,900.00 (Now just Php 10,490).
Samsung Galaxy Mini, on the other hand, boasts 3.14-inch QVGA touchscreen, 3MP camera, Android Froyo OS and a processor speed of 600MHz. This phone has a rather youthful design and comes in various colors. Note that it's more affordable than Ace and Fit at only P10,190.00 (Now only Php 8,990) -- perfect for students, I think.
And finally, for the business users out there, I'm sure you'd appreciate having a hardware keyboard on your phone for quickly typing emails and messages, so here’s Samsung Galaxy Pro featuring both a capacitive touchscreen and a full QWERTY thumb-type keypad.
This phone also runs Android 2.2 and supports exclusive applications like Social Hub from Samsung. Samsung Galaxy Pro comes with a 800MHz chip and a 3.2MP camera allowing users to take photos anywhere they go.
If I remember clearly, Samsung Galaxy Pro is priced at P15,000.00 and is now available at all Samsung stores nationwide.
