Nokia X7 Price, Specs, Demo Video from Nokia Connection 2011, First Impressions
One of the new Nokia handsets that are currently being showcased in Nokia Booth in CommunicAsia 2011 is Nokia X7.
Aimed at entertainment and gaming enthusiasts, Nokia X7 is one of the first Nokia handsets to run Symbian Anna operating system -- replete with new icons and usability enhancements including a faster browser, refreshed Ovi Maps and a portrait virtual QWERTY keyboard.
Here's a video that I took during Nokia Connection 2011 showing the stainless-steel-clad Nokia X7 in action --
Nokia X7 dons a price tag of roughly $550 in the US. Nokia Philippines has yet to announce its official SRP and release date in our country but we've already seen some online stores sell it for around Php 20,000 to 21,000.
First Impressions:
Nokia X7 is easily one of the most intricately designed phones I've seen. It has these grills on the side and metal panels that make it look, uhm, perhaps more kick-ass and terrifying - in a good way - vs. other handsets in its category. The smartphone has this rugged, industrial look that I'm sure those who like the robots in Transformers The Movie will find rather attractive.
