HTC Desire Z Android 2.3 Gingerbread OTA Software Update, Out!

HTC has just rolled out Android 2.3 over-the-air software update for HTC Desire Z!


I think HTC Desire Z is still one of the best-looking Android handsets out in the market today. It's also one of the few Android phones that has a slide-out full QWERTY keypad and a camera button. I love this phone.

You can check if the OTA update is already available for your non-rooted HTC Desire Z by going to Settings, About Phone, System Software Updates, then clicking on the Check Now button. I'm expecting it to arrive within this week.

For those who want to check out HTC Desire Z, it's still available at all authorized HTC retailers across the archipelago. I've seen some stores sell this for around Php 20,000 -- not bad at all for a phone of its caliber.
