HTC Evo 3D Philippines Price, Specs, Photos, Video
So I guess it's only a matter time before the Dual-Core 3D Android phones start getting announced in the Philippines in rapid succession.
Spotted a demo unit of HTC Evo 3D at the newly opened Smart-PLDT Jump Store in MegaMall last week:
And as they say, if a demo unit is out, retail units must already be waiting in the wing.
What's so special about this phone, you ask?
Well,
1. It has a 3D camera
2. It can play 3D videos
3. Comes with 3D sharing features
4. Has a dedicated camera button, unlike most Android phones in the market today
5. Has a 2D-3D camera switch
Aside from its camera specs, other features of HTC Evo 3D are largely similar to that of HTC Sensation (Note, however, that unlike HTC Sensation, HTC Evo 3D doesn't have an aluminum shell). Kindly check the table below for the full technical specifications of HTC Evo 3D
As for the price, the phone costs $500 without contract in the US, which is a bit lower than the price tag of HTC Sensation in that territory. SRP in the Philippines hasn't been announced but I promise to update this entry as soon as we get word from HTC and its local carriers.
Watch me play HTC Evo 3D at the Smart-PLDT Jump Store (just to show you the hardware and a bit of the UI, nothing too extensive yet):
The Carousel UI looks nice. Unfortunately, the demo unit's 3D camera isn't working so I can't tell you if it's any good. I'm looking forward to receiving a review unit from HTC so we can review its 3D features more extensively.
