Sony Ericsson Live Philippines : Price, Specs - New Android Walkman Phone Coming in Q4 2011!
Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman, to put it simply, is an Android smartphone with unique, integrated music and social networking features.
Looks quite cute too.
Featuring a curved design, a glossy finish and a mineral glass display, Sony Ericsson Live comes replete with a 3.2-inch screen and a powerful 1Ghz processor. A front facing camera is enabled for Skype video calling, while a 5 MegaPixel autofocus camera can capture 720p HD video recording. Sony xLOUD enhances the phone's audio output, while its Android 2.3 platform provides access to over 250,000 applications on the Android Market
Sony Ericsson Live presents a cool combination of social networking and music entertainment features. The phone flaunts a dedicated Walkman hardware button providing instant access to the music player and consumers can also like, share and discover content through a deep Facebook integration. Also, the handset features Media Discovery, which is a dynamic application placing the world of music and videos at consumer’s fingertips including Facebook recommendations from their friends.
Tapping the infinite button within the media player enables consumers to have instant access to new content about their favourite artist, such as music videos, artist information and lyrics search. Likewise, there's Sony's very own xLOUD technology, which - again - enhances audio output of the inbuilt speakers at high levels, and TrackID that identifies the music track one is listening to within the FM radio and music player.
When will it be available? How much will it cost?
According to Sony Ericsson, the phone is set to be released worldwide sometime in Q4 2011. No word on actual SRP in the Philippines yet but my guesstimate is sub Php 10,000.
Staying true to our TP tradition, here are the phone's complete specifications:
