Smart Samsung Galaxy S3 : Confirmed on Twitter! #SmartGalaxyS3 Units, Spotted!

Competition is always good -- for consumers, especially.

And the fact that network rivals, Globe Telecom and Smart Communications, have both publicly disclosed that they will carry Samsung Galaxy S3 only means that their subscribers should get the most competitive bundles possible.

Smart made the confirmation at exactly 11:35 in the evening yesterday via the company's official Twitter account. No word on pricing and availability of plans yet.

Update as of May 20, 2012:

One of our sources has just disclosed to us that Smart Communications will begin accepting Samsung Galaxy S3 pre-orders on May 23, 2012 and will then ship units in June. The official pre-order sign-up page will likewise go live on Smart's corporate website on the 23rd of May.
