Nokia Amazing Everyday : My First Helicopter Ride, A Bird's Eye View of The Sea and Skyscrapers
TechPinas Exclusive!
A few weeks back, Nokia Philippines proved to me that everyday can be amazing by giving me an incredible experience that I'll never forget.
My first helicopter ride!
Aboard a Robinson R44 helicopter and carrying a Nokia Lumia 800 to capture and share photos and videos, I got a bird's eye view of Manila Bay, Pasay City - Home of SM Mall of Asia, and the Makati Business District.
Inside the chopper with Nikka of Nokia Philippines and Joem of FuentesManila. The headset looks really hardcore, don't you think?
Check out the controls!
I really wanted to ask our pilot about each knob and button but I thought that might distract him from properly flying the helicopter -- and we don't want that. Hehe. So I just enjoyed the amazing ride and did my research my after;
I got this from Atlas Aviation.
TP Friends, here's what Manila looks like from above --
I felt giddy hovering over the the third largest shopping mall in the world - SM Mall of Asia!
Flying above Manila Bay
At the heart of Makati Business District; Can you spot the PhilamLife Tower, BPI Building, LKG Tower, The Enterprise, and PBCom Tower?
The Makati CBD Skyline; Clearly, the tallest skyscraper in the area is 259-meter high PBCom Tower, followed by GT International Tower with height of 217 meters. Currently, PBCom Tower is the tallest commercial building in the Philippines.
Back to General Aviation!
Thanks for the experience, Nokia! I had a blast!
