Nokia Store Apps : My Top 5 Picks! Download and Install Them Now!
There are a lot of apps you can get for your S40, S60 or Nokia Belle phone; Don't let anyone tell you or fool you into thinking otherwise -- because you're smarter than that.
Here are the top five apps that I love using on my Nokia N8, which runs Nokia Belle operating system, that you can also download and install on your S40 Asha handset or any S60 phone. All of which are available for free via Nokia Store.
1. Skype - Having features similar to the desktop version, Skype for Nokia lets you make free calls and send text messages to other Skype users via WiFi connection saving you precious load. TP App Score (1 to 5, 1 being the highest): 2
2. Youtube for Nokia - Unlike other Youtube mobile apps, this one won't redirect you to the browser. But the best part is that it loads clips really fast. TP App Score (1 to 5, 1 being the highest): 1
3. MMDA - Metro Manila Development Authority's application shows real-time traffic information in all major thoroughfares including EDSA, Espana, Roxas Blvd, Quezon Ave, Commonwealth, Ortigas, Marcos Highway, C5, SLEX, and Katipunan Ave. It even has an FAQ section containing relevant information all motorists should know like number coding rules or lists of traffic violations and penalties, among others. TP App Score (1 to 5, 1 being the highest): 1
4. Fruit Ninja - Along with Angry Birds, this is my favorite game for Nokia. Slice fruits using your finger while avoiding bombs. The more fruits you slice, the higher your score. Miss three or hit a bomb and you're out. TP App Score (1 to 5, 1 being the highest): 2
5. Facebook for Nokia - The Philippines is the social networking capital of the world and Nokia has easy-to-use apps for millions of Pinoys who love checking their Facebook accounts every minute. Facebook for Nokia, which comes with the company's pre-installed 'Social apps' package, lets you update your status, upload photos and videos, and like or comment on your friends' FB posts. TP App Score (1 to 5, 1 being the highest): 2
