Globe 4G LTE Tattoo Black Plans Arriving This Month! Register Your Interest Before 12 Noon Today and Get A Chance to Win an All-Expense Paid Trip to Singapore Grand Race!
Globe Telecom will finally make its LTE service publicly available within this month via Tattoo Black, the company's premium LTE-powered mobile broadband stick.
Globe 4G LTE network covers 45 sites in Makati City, and will quickly expand to cover regions across Manila, Cebu, Davao and select regions. To date, Globe has over 2,700 4G sites, that will increase to over 4,000 sites by end of 2012 -- thanks to the company's $700 Million network modernization program.
They're currently offering two plans; Tattoo Black Plan 1799 and Tattoo Black Elite 2499, which both offer the fastest mobile speeds currently available matched with unparalleled customer service and exclusive perks and freebies.
Tattoo Black Plan 1799 comes with free USB dongle and delivers speeds of up to 28 Mbps. Customers have the option to upgrade to "SuperStick" for a minimum additional charge of only Php 150 a month. (I've yet to talk to Globe though on what SuperStick does exactly.) Tattoo Black Plan 1799 subscribers will also enjoy nationwide concierge assistance and discounts at partner establishments.
Tattoo Black Plan 2499, on the other hand, runs at speeds of up to 42 Mbps and comes with Globe's premium line-up of broadband customer service, which include a dedicated hotline, priority handling in stores and a personal relationship manager to handle all the Tattoo Black customer needs. Plan 2499 subscribers will also enjoy exclusive perks like complimentary tickets to Tattoo parties, MIASCOR Lounge Access Extension Card, credit limit extension and priority reservation on Globe's bundled handset and tablet devices.
As of writing, Globe Telecom hasn't given word on the monthly data cap for either plans. However, considering that rival company Smart Communications is offering unlimited data for its Smart LTE Plan 3500 until October 25, 2012, there's reason to believe that Globe will likewise lift the cap for the first two months of Tattoo Black subscription. After the 25th of October, Smart Communications will most likely start implementing the 10GB data cap for its sole LTE plan. Here's to hoping Globe will just keep their LTE service unlimited throughout the entire subscription period like what they're known to deliver in their other mobile data plans.
Anyway, if you're interested to be one of Globe's first LTE plan subscribers, you can register your interest now via Tattoo website.
And here's the cool part: If you register before 12 noon today, you can get a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to the Singapore Grand Race happening on September 21-23!
"All it takes is to register your interest to own the much awaited Tattoo Black and you instantly get a raffle ticket for a chance to witness the intense speed of the race in Singapore and live performances of top international artists. Ultimate speed and pure spectacle is what Tattoo Black is all about, which is very much similar to the Singapore Race," shared Dong Ronquillo, Globe Telecom's Head for Nomadic Broadband.
The winner will be chosen via raffle draw, which will be held at 1PM today at the Consumer Broadband Group Office, 3/F Globe Telecom Plaza 2, Pioneer cor. Madison Sts., 1552 Mandaluyong City, to be witnessed by a DTI representative. One winner will be drawn, with four back-up options in case the winner won't be able to confirm within 24 hours upon receipt of Globe's notification.
