Nokia Lumia 510 Philippines Price and Release Date Guesstimate, Complete Specifications : The Affordable Windows Phone, Arriving This Yuletide?!
If high price is keeping you from finally switching to a Nokia Lumia Windows Phone, then Nokia Lumia 510 could well be the phone to make it happen for you.
With SRP of only $199 or around Php 8,230 pesos with current conversion, Nokia Lumia 510 is the most affordable handset in the Finnish company's current line-up of smartphones powered by Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system. Having such low price tag makes it an ideal device for young and budget-conscious consumers who want to experience the smooth and gorgeous WP user interface and enjoy all services like Maps and Navigation that only Nokia can provide.
Sure, Nokia Lumia 510 lacks the stellar specifications of its far more expensive siblings but does it have a few things - aside from the low price point - that would make it irresistible to consumers. For one, it's cute; The design, I think, is very youthful and is quite sleek. College students and yuppies, I believe, will find it totally attractive. Also, despite having only a 800Mhz processor and 256MB of RAM, the 4-inch handset is still capable of delivering some of the most useful (and endearing) features of Windows Phone including our favorite, People Hub, which lets users manage and update their multiple social networking accounts quickly and easily.
For those who like taking photos and videos using their phones, Nokia Lumia 510 has a 5 MegaPixel autofocus camera and a VGA 30fps video recorder at the back. The phone comes with 4GB of internal storage, which should be enough for most users to carry their favorite images, videos, and even music tracks anywhere they go. But should you run out of storage, you can always transfer files to your free 7GB SkyDrive account or connect the phone to a computer via Microsoft Zune to sync content.
Nokia Lumia 510 comes in various colors, namely, Red, Yellow, White, Cyan, and Black. India and China will be the first countries to get it this coming November, to be followed by countries in South America and Asia Pacific, which includes the Philippines. The TP Guesstimate for its SRP when it lands here is around Php 8,000 to 8,300.
As some of you know, I own a Nokia Lumia 710 and I always say that if there's a mobile OS that could match or even beat iOS when it comes to smoothness of interface and touch response, it's definitely Windows Phone. TP Friends, I invite you to check it out and experience the OS for yourself. You'll fall in love with it.
