Sony Xperia J Philippines Price, Release Date, Complete Specifications, In the Flesh Photos : Arriving this Yuletide Season!
This was one of the new handsets on display at the Sony Christmas Party Yuletide Product Exhibit last Wednesday.
Arriving in the Philippines in time for the Yuletide gadget shopping season, the mid-level release Sony Xperia J comes replete with a 4-inch 480 x 856 pixels resolution display protected by scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass touchscreen, a 5 MegaPixel camera with autofocus lens and LED flash, and a VGA video recorder. Under the hood, the handset features a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A5 processor running Android 4.0 ICS OS, 512 of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage, which users can easily expand via the phone's microSD card slot. As for connectivity, the handset supports WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G.
Sony Xperia J may have rather humble technical specifications compared to Sony Mobile's 2012 flagship releases but it definitely has its own charms. For one, it flaunts a sleek curved design reminiscent of the best-selling Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc that I'm sure many users will find attractive. Also, just like its more expensive siblings, Xperia J features the latest version of Sony's smooth Timescape experience serving as skin for Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwhich and also has Sony Mobile Bravia engine for enhanced photo and video viewing experience.
This smartphone will hit store shelves in Pinas in a few weeks with official suggested retail price of Php 13,490. So with that amount, will you check it out? What do you think about the handset? Share your thoughts about Sony Xperia J on our comments section.
