BlackBerry Philippines Chrismas Promo Goes Live! RIM Rolls Out 'Action Starts Here' Campaign!
If you remember, last May, I asked you guys via a TP #VoiceOfTheCrowd Post and a TP Gadget Bonanza why Pinoys choose BlackBerry. And a lot of you said that you got a BB mainly because it helps you accomplish tasks and more importantly because it allows you to constantly connect or stay in touch with your loved ones.
Interestingly, RIM's 2012 Yuletide Promo for the Philippines, which recently went live, is all about that. "Action Starts Here" campaign aims to inspire Filipino consumers to take action and connect deeper with their loved ones using BlackBerry smartphones, especially this upcoming Christmas season.
The campaign is supported by some of the brightest names in Philippine show business including long time BlackBerry users Tim Yap, Isabelle Daza, Solenn Heussaff, Liz Uy, and Raymond Gutierrez who rely on BBM as a means to stay in touch with each other despite their busy schedules and jet-setting lifestyles.
"BlackBerry is for those who want more than just a smartphone. It's for people of action who value getting things done while being able to connect deeper with the people who matter most," shared Cameron Vernest, Director for the Philippines at RIM. "This makes BlackBerry perfect for Filipinos, who are among the most hyper-connected people in the world. It is the smartphone that strengthens their connections not just with their families, but just as importantly, with their barkadas."
And to encourage more Filipinos to take action, RIM has just introduced even more attractive offers for its latest and most popular BlackBerry smartphones in the Philippines!
"[In line with this Yuletide campaign], Filipinos can enjoy up to 35% off on BlackBerry smartphones for themselves or their loved ones especially for the holiday season," shared Vernest. TP Friends, here's RIM's discounted price schedule for its BlackBerry handsets this Christmas:
"With these offers, we hope to enable Filipinos to experience the richness of BBM or BlackBerry Messenger's unlimited local and international messaging. Instantly connect with your barkada, exchange memories in real time, and share memorable photos, videos, and voice notes, wherever your loved ones may be in the world," he added.
PS: To BB fans who've been sending me DMs and emails and asking me which BlackBerry smartphone I use, my BB handset is the BlackBerry Torch 9810 that features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen and a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. I often pair it with my svelte BlackBerry PlayBook 32GB via BlackBerry Bridge for an even richer mobile experience.
