Smart iPhone 5 Postpaid Plans, Prepaid Prices : 'iPhone', All-In and Unli Data Plans Cashout Amounts, Out!
Just like Globe Telecom, Smart Communications released its official iPhone 5 postpaid plans and prepaid kit prices a bit past midnight today. Right on the dot, eh?!
The MVP-company currently offers Apple's flagship handset via three postpaid plans, namely 'iPhone', All-In, and Unli-Data.
'iPhone' Plans are for users who want to enjoy the lowest monthly payments and still have unlimited mobile internet. Users also get 100 free SMS and 40 voice call minutes with Plan 999, and 300 SMS plus 300 voice call minutes with Plan 2499. I think Plan 2499 is particularly 'sulit' not only because of the above-mentioned bundled services but also because it gives you iPhone5 32GB for free.
All-In Plans are for those who want flexibility or freedom in choosing services that will be bundled with their postpaid accounts. I think that's cool and all - but the iPhone5 cash-out amounts here are a bit steep side.
Unli Data Plans, as its very name suggests, are for users who long to enjoy unlimited mobile internet. And the more expensive the plan gets, the more free SMS and voice call minutes you'll get. Frankly, this will give you almost the same stuff you'll get with 'iPhone Plans' at a more expensive price. I mean, compare the tables.
So if you ask me, if you're 100% certain that you're going with Smart Postpaid for your iPhone5, just stick to their 'iPhone Plans' or iPhone Plan 2499 to be exact. I think that's where you'll save a lot of cash. Of course, I don't have to tell you to insist on getting the free 32GB iPhone 5 variant instead of the 16GB version, which also comes free with the plan. Double check, make sure that what you have in the bag is the 32GB version before going home. Alright?!
Oh, and if you wish so, you can also grab iPhone5 from Smart sans contract via their prepaid kits. As of writing, the company offers the most affordable prices for the handset (besting even grey market sellers) - starting at just Php 33,600 for the 16GB variant - without any obligations whatsoever. Let's see if Globe Telecom will try to match Smart's prepaid prices between now and iPhone5's formal Philippine debut on December 14.
Last year, I went with and unboxed Smart iPhone 4S; Remember that, TP Friends? Let's see if I'll likewise get Smart iPhone 5 this year or if I'll go with something else altogether.
