Apple iPad 5 Price and Release Date Guesstimate : Could This Be Apple's Redesigned Fifth Generation Tablet?
I know it might be a tad too early for us to be talking about this device. iPad 4, after all, has just been released in the Philippines. But the renders are out and I couldn't help myself.
TP Friends, could this be the Fifth Generation Apple iPad?
Considering the stunning track record of Mr. Martin Hajek, the guy who worked on these concept images, I believe we could very well be looking at the much-talked about, totally revamped iPad5.
From the man who brought us unbelievably accurate renders of BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10 months before their formal announcement, these images show what's said to be the next generation Apple slate flaunting the same design identity as the iPad Mini released last year.
Shown in this photo on top of the New iPad, the "iPad 5" trades this line's familiar tapered sides for a far smaller footprint made possible by the slimmed down front bezel. Also, just like the iPad4, iPad5 features the 9-pin Lightning port instead of the 30-pin dock connector.
According to "industry insiders", Apple is planning to release its 5th Generation tablet along with the follow-up to the iPad Mini in October 2013 -- that's still a long, long way from now. So I guess if you purchased the iPad 4, you shouldn't feel too bad.
Of course, as yet, we don't have word on this slate's technical specifications as well as its pricing details. Off hand, however, I believe it will have almost the same technical specifications as iPad4 and will even have a similar price schedule (i.e. WiFi Only Variants 16GB - Php 23,990, 32GB - Php 28,990, 64GB - Php 33,990, 128GB - Php 38,990, WiFi + Cellular Variants: 16GB - Php 29,990, 32GB - Php 34,990, 64GB - Php 39,990, 128GB - Php 44,990).
So what do you think? Could this be the 5th Generation iPad? Kindly share your thoughts below.
