Acer Iconia B1 Android Tablet with Leather Case and Stand Giveaway : Unboxing, Packaging and Accessories Check!
A few days ago, in my initial Acer Iconia B1 entry, I told you that if you give that post enough likes, tweets, and shares, I'll raffle off one unit that Acer Philippines gave me.
Well, since that day, that TP Feature has gotten more than 1,500 shares on various social networking sites - mainly on Facebook and Twitter - which I think is already more than enough. So as promised, I'm now launching yet another Rafflecopter contest, this time to giveaway one Acer Iconia B1 Android tablet.
But before that, I just want to show you how the device's packaging looks as well as what joins the affordable yet powerful slate in its box.
I love how 'hardcore' Acer Iconia B1's packaging is. It looks nothing like the boxes of Apple iPad or Nexus 7. In fact, it's almost like it's made for a laptop or a netbook.
The bottom panel shows a list of the tablet's key technical specifications in various languages, namely, English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Bahasa, and Arabic.
As I've shared earlier, Acer Iconia B1 runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system (without any skin) with its Dual-core 1.2 GHz MediaTek MTK 8317T chipset, handles multitasking with 512 MB of RAM, and comes replete with a 7-inch WSVGA TFT LCD, 0.3 MegaPixel front-facing camera, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity support, and 16 GB of internal storage that's even expandable via microSD card slot.
The slate has decent specs housed in an eye-catching and attractive shell but what's really cool about it is that it comes with a very affordable price tag. With SRP of only Php 6,950, Acer Iconia B1 is one of the most pocket-friendly Android tablets from a major multinational electronics company that you can get currently.
Inside the package, the tablet is joined by the charger, microUSB to USB connector cable, user manual, and other documentation. Perhaps to keep the price of the device low, Acer skipped on the earphones, which I think is acceptable.
As you all know, Blue is my favorite color and I love the fact that Acer chose that hue for the front accent and lining on the sides of Acer Iconia B1. I think having those design elements gave the tablet a more unique and youthful look.
The slick back of the slate has a glossy finish and a protruding center, which kind of makes you feel that it will be a scratch magnet.
Good thing Acer gave us a free leather case to help protect our Acer Iconia B1 from bumps and dents when we put it in a bag along with notebooks and other gadgets. I think the case looks great with its neat lines and clean side seams -- perfectly matching the tablet's subtle yet sophisticated design.
And what's totally cool is that it almost magically transforms into a multi-angle stand for Acer Iconia B1 making it a multi-purpose accessory! This should come in handy for when you need to type, view photos, or watch movies on the device. Isn't that nice?
TP Friends, I'm giving away one unit of Acer Iconia B1 with free Acer Leather Case - specifically made for this tablet - via Rafflecopter! You already know how this works so what are you waiting for?!
