Starmobile Jump Price Php 4,990, Specs, Release Date, In the Flesh Photos, Quick Demo Video!
Starmobile is truly on a roll these days. During their big event at SM North EDSA last week, they introduced some pretty slick and powerful handsets for the high-end echelon but they also made sure that have strong contenders for leadership in the midrange and entry level categories.
According to our friends at the company, Starmobile Jump - which I think looks a lot like Sony Xperia Neo L - will be their stellar budget dual core offering this 2013. Donning an official suggested retail price of only Php 4,990, the goal of the handset is to deliver decent specifications at a price point that every Pinoy can afford.
Some of the phone's key technical specifications include a 4-inch WVGA TFT display, 1 GHz Dual Core ARM Cortex A9 based MediaTek MTK6577 chipset running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage that you can expand via microSD card slot, 5 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash plus a VGA front-facing snapper - neither have BSI sensor, video recorder, Dual SIM Dual Standby capability, and WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity support.
If you want to see more of the handset, check out this quick hands-on and demo video of Starmobile Jump, which I recorded at the event exhibit. Hopefully the short clip gives you an idea of the smartphone's design, build, and its screen's responsiveness to touch gestures.
Starmobile Jump will be available at all Starmobile stores and partner retailers across the country within this month. Again, it is priced at only Php 4,990 and I believe it will be available in three colors, namely, White, Black, and Red.
