Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue Price in Philippines, Specs, Release Date : 7-Inch Tablet With Phone Functionality, Where To Buy It?
Huawei, the largest telecommunications equipment maker in the world, has just released two new Android tablets in the Philippines -- proving that the Chinese giant is serious about making our country one of their key markets for their consumer products.
"Building on the popularity of the Huawei MediaPad series, we've created a new tablet that caters to fashionistas, technology seekers, entertainment junkies, and people who simply expect more from their technology," said Mr. Leo Wang, Country Manager of Huawei Device Philippines.
He added, "We’re delighted to introduce the MediaPad 7 Vogue and MediaPad 10 Link, our 3G/WiFi-enabled tablets with world-class entertainment capabilities and long-lasting battery power. They are perfect examples of Huawei’s dedication to making extraordinary experiences possible."
Featuring a unibody aluminum case and a 7-inch 600 x 1024 pixels IPS LCD screen, Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue - shown in the photos above - runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system with its 1.2 GHz Quad Core chipset also made by Huawei and handles multitasking with 1GB of RAM. It also sports a 3.15 MegaPixels main camera, a VGA front cam, VGA video recorder, 8 GB of internal storage that's expandable via microSD card slot, and a non-removable Li-Po 4,100 mAh battery. As for connectivity, the svelte tablet supports WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G HSPA+.
But what sets this slate apart from other devices in its category is that it has full phone functionality. This means that you can use it to send text messages and even to make calls! And according to Huawei, MediaPad 7 Vogue even boasts a built-in receiver for direct calling capability that removes the need for headphones.
Both MediaPad 7 Vogue and MediaPad 10 Link, which I'll talk about in a separate entry, come with free leather case when you purchase them. The two tablets are now available for purchase nationwide.
