O+ Fab Elite Price, Specs, Antutu Benchmark Score : 6.5 Inch Full HD Quad Core Phablet Prototype, In the Flesh!
I really want to thank our friends from O+ for trusting TechPinas this much.
Just like how the American electronics company trusted us by giving us the first look on their O+ 8.15, O+ Fab 3G, and O+ 8.16 flagship releases, O+ has again chosen TechPinas to be the first media outlet to play with the prototype unit of the upcoming O+ Fab Elite.
When it officially hits store shelves across the country next week, aluminum-clad O+ Fab Elite will formally become a co-flagship handset of the company along with the best-selling and very popular O+ 8.15 and O+ 8.16. It will likewise have the best technical specifications and perhaps even the best design out of any device that O+ currently offers.
Obviously, the most noticeable or distinguishing physical characteristic of O+ Fab Elite is its massive 6.5-inch Full HD IPS OGS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. With this screen, the American company's phablet has successfully beaten Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 in terms of both screen size and display clarity.
But its outstanding display is just one of the many things that make O+ Fab Elite an amazing release. Having played with the device, I'm thoroughly impressed with its very elegant, durable, and sophisticated anodized aluminum enclosure. This is a phone that you won't be shy to put on the table on business meetings. And it also doesn't hurt that the American company was able to keep the device's thickness and weight low -- making it both a joy to hold and behold.
The phablet's powerhouse innards perfectly complement its gorgeous design identity. Under the shell, O+ Fab Elite features a Quad Core 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex A7 and 357 MHz PowerVR SGX 544MP based MediaTek MT6589T system on chip running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM that can easily be expanded via microSD card slot supporting up to 64GB (I believe an 8GB microSD card is also included in the package for free.), and a removable 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery pack. Users also get a 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera (not interpolated) with LED flash and BSI sensor, a 5 MegaPixel front cam (also not interpolated) with backside illuminated sensor for better looking selfies even in low light conditions, and a 1080p Full HD video recorder. As for connectivity, the smartphones supports WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G HSPA+.
With official SRP of Php 18,995, O+ Fab Elite is a tad more expensive that other mega phablets available in the market and understandably so. According to our friends from O+, "Elite's shell is made of aluminum and we made it very slim and light all while giving it a very large display. We really wanted it to look very premium. It's a phablet for users who are willing to spend a bit more to get a big and powerful phablet that can turn heads because of its slim, tapered design, and beautiful metal accents. It's also very durable like other O+ devices so you can say that O+ Fab Elite is a keeper. And should you need after sales support, you can easily get it because we are always improving on our service." I completely agree.
TP Friends, I invite you to give O+ Fab Elite a test run at any O+ kiosk or store near you. O+ always makes sure that they have actual working units at their stores so users can really experience the products that they have to offer. And it's really one of the things that I love about this American company; They respect Pinoy consumers so much, they hardly if at all present us with dummies just to sell their products.

The handset's top-notch processor and RAM combine to give it a high Antutu Benchmark Score of 15,345, which is well-reflected in the very smooth, lag-free, and enjoyable gaming and overall mobile experience that the device delivers.
