MyPhone Agua Hail Price, Specs, Features : Budget 5-inch Dual Core Android Phablet
Phablets don't always have to cost an arm and a leg. In fact, these days, you can already get one for less than Php 5,000.
MyPhone Agua Hail, released earlier this month, sells for only Php 4,598 and yet - amazingly - it already comes with decent features and technical specifications. So if you're planning to get a big smartphone to kick off the year but you're too conscious about your budget, why not check it out?
A phablet through and through, MyPhone Agua Hail flaunts a big 5-inch LCD with FWVGA 854 x 480 pixels resolution providing a good multimedia viewing experience. The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system with its 1.2 GHz Dual Core ARM Cortex A7 CPU and 500 MHz Mali-400 MP1 GPU based MediaTek MT6572 SoC and handles multitasking with 512 MB of RAM. Other notable features include Dual SIM Dual Standby capability, 4GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card slot supporting up to 32 GB, 5 MegaPixel fixed focus camera at the back, 0.3 MegaPixel front cam, A-GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity support, and a rather sizable 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery pack.
Obviously, MyPhone had cut some corners to keep the price of the hybrid that low. For one, Agua Hail is just a Dual Core phablet (although its GPU is quite capable) and the RAM is frankly low. You also won't get 3G connectivity and its imaging capabilities are far from ideal. But considering its ultra-affordable price tag, come on, I guess we can't really nitpick on the limitations of the product all that much.
MyPhone Agua Hail is now available at all MyPhone Concept Stores, Kiosks, and partner retailers across the archipelago.
