Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 Philippines Price, Specs, Antutu Benchmark Score, Release Date, Features
I'm looking back at Samsung's product catalogue from the day the company started selling Android devices up until today and I think Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 would have to be the most affordable tablet they've ever released.
With official suggested retail price of just Php 7,490 in the Philippines, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 is hardly the most gorgeous nor the most powerful device in the Korean company's current product line-up but at least it's affordable enough to give all users - especially the budget-conscious ones - a chance to experience what Samsung has to offer in this device category.
With dimensions of 193.4 x 116.4 x 9.7 mm or around that of a spring-bound notebook that kids bring to school, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 - with no GSM voice or text functionality - sports a 7-inch 600 x 1024 pixels TFT display, 2 MegaPixel main camera at the back with no LED flash, non-HD video recorder, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity support, and a non-removable 3,600 mAh Li-Ion battery pack.
As for the innards, the slate runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with its Dual Core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A9 CPU and Vivante GC1000 GPU based Marvell PXA986 chipset, handles multitasking with 1 GB of RAM, and has 8 GB of ROM that can be expanded via microSD card slot. These internal features combine to give Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 an Antutu Benchmark Score of 11,216 (c/o Youtube Vlogger Qukeru), which I think is decent enough for a tablet in this price echelon.
Now, obviously, these are several slates by companies - both local and international - that are in this price range with better innards and multimedia features. For example, you have iPad Mini look-alike O+ Fab Nova 3G, which sells for a bit more but has an 8 MegaPixel main camera, 2 MegaPixel frontcam, GSM phone functionality, and 3G connectivity support. Lots of choices out in the market but if you really want to stick to Samsung, then - by all means - get Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite at any concept store or authorized Samsung retailer near you.
