THL T200 Cyborg Hands-On Demo, Scratch Test, Unboxing, Sample Camera Shots, Exclusive Launch Promo Details
Just a few additional information about THL T200 Cyborg Octa Core 6-inch Full HD Android flagship smartphone that I introduced to you a few days ago.
As I've shared, I had lunch meeting at the Mall of Asia with our friends from Novo7Tech - the official distributor of THL handsets in the country - last March 15, 2014 and there they handed me our gorgeous white THL T200 unit and they also gave a quick demo of their top-of-the-line release this year.
Mr. Adrian Lim, Novo7Tech's IT Director, gave me a quick rundown of Cyborg's key features, technical specifications, benchmark scores, and even did an unforgiving scratch test of the handset's Gorilla Glass 3 touchscreen.
He also showed me the big yet portable 20,000 mAh power bank with LED torchlight - worth around Php 3,000 - that THL fans can get for free if they're one of the first 100 to purchase this powerhouse smartphone.

Flaunting a phablet design identity reminiscent of both Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, THL T200's multimedia features and technical specifications include a 13 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash and Sony IMX135 Blue Lens Filter in lieu of BSI sensor for brighter and more vivid low-light shots, an 8 MegaPixel front with Sony IMX111 Blue Lens Filter for clear and crisp selfies, and a 1080p Full HD video recorder. As for connectivity, the Cyborg supports NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G HSPA+.

Note: You can use the handset's interpolated 18 MegaPixel camera - available in the settings - but quoting Mr. Adrian Lim, "We are not advertising that. We are sticking to the 13 MegaPixel camera in our collaterals because that's what the hardware really is. Nonetheless, you may use the interpolated resolution if you wish so."

As discussed on TechPinas earlier, THL T200 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating skin sans any custom skin with its powerhouse 1.7 GHz Octa Core ARM Cortex A7 CPU and Mali-450 GPU based MediaTek MT6592 chipset, handles multitasking efficiently with its 2 GB of RAM, has 32 GB of internal storage that you can instantly expand via microSD card slot supporting up to 64 GB. The combination of these innards gave the phone an Antutu Benchmark Score of 26,548 during our internal testing.
Accessories?! Well, apart from the powerbank and the earphones, there's this hard plastic case with matte finish to protect your phablet from the knocks and bumps of daily use. I have it in Blue. The best part? It only costs Php 100! Believe it.

The retail package, which costs Php 14,999, includes the THL T200 Cyborg unit itself, the two-prong charger, microUSB to USB connector cable, earphones, quick start guide, and two 2,500 mAh Li-Ion battery packs.
The earphones have silicon earbuds to keep ambient noise out when you're listening to music and microphone that you can use when you make calls.
