MyPhone Agua Ocean Pro Price Php 6,999, Technical Specifications, Features : 5.5 Inch Quad Core Android Phablet
MyPhone may not be as prolific as its rivals in the local electronics market in terms of the number of devices that the company releases but at least, the people behind the brand make sure that they have all categories covered with the strongest models that they can come up with.
MyPhone Agua Ocean Pro represents the Pinoy company's first entry this year to the entry-level phablet category and consumers will be glad to know that the device comes with an affordable price tag, an attractive design, and a decent set of technical specifications all at the same time.
What's a phablet again? As I've earlier explained on TP, the phablet is a combination of a smartphone and a tablet having functionalities and features reminiscent of both.
Donning on SRP of only Php 6,999, MyPhone Agua Ocean Pro is equipped with a 5.5-inch qHD IPS capacitive touchscreen, 8 MegaPixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 2 MegaPixel front cam, a 720p HD video recorder, and a 2,350 mAh Li-Ion battery pack . Inside the shell, the phablet runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with a slightly customized vanilla interface with its 1.3 GHz Quad Core ARM Cortex A7 CPU and 416 MHz Mali-400 MP2 GPU based MediaTek MT6582M system on chip. It also has 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of ROM that can be beefed up using the device's microSD card slot supporting up to 32 GB.
Apart from cool imaging features including Voice Capture, Clever Motion, Object Eraser, Cinemagraph, and Face Beauty, MyPhone Ocean Pro - as a true Pinoy phone - comes with the company's 'Pinoy' app, which houses prayers, quotations, photos of tourist destinations in the Philippines, and speeches from great Filipinos among many others giving users a glimpse of our rich Filipino heritage and culture.
TP Friends, Dual SIM Dual Standby and 3G HSPA+ enabled MyPhone Agua Ocean Pro - out in two colors, Black and White - is now available at all MyPhone Concept Stores, Kiosks, and authorized retail partners nationwide. I was told that the SRP of the phablet was supposed to be Php 8,388 but the company decided to lower it to its current price of Php 6,999 making it more affordable and well within the reach of most Filipino gadget fans.

Notice that the handset's display has a very narrow side frame that's similar that of LG G2.
