MyPhone Kimstore Partnership, Launched! MyPhone Android Smartphones, Phablets, and Tablets Will Be Available in the Philippines' Most Trusted Online Store Soon!
It's official. MyPhone and the Philippines' most trusted online gadget store Kimstore has entered into a long-term partnership and agreement for the online distribution of the local electronics giant's mobile devices.
A few days ago, I joined Kim and our friends from MyPhone - the VP of which, Kevin Tan, happens to be my batchmate and coursemate in Ateneo de Manila University - in a meeting where they begun a landmark alliance ~ with Kimstore being their newest retail partner and online selling partner. This is in line with the company's desire to bring their products closer to consumers across the country by making the devices more accessible to them via the most popular platform currently, which is the internet.
This partnership will start to bear fruit within this month - May 2014. This means that, henceforth, MyPhone feature phones, smartphones, phablets, tablets, and accessories will be available for purchase on Kimstore's fully revamped and redesigned website.
As you all know, TP Friends, Kimstore is my trusted online store. And as I've shared, I trust Kim not just because she's my friend but because I know her deeper vision in continuing with this business, which is to make gadgets at arm's reach of Pinoy consumers regardless of their location - something I absolutely appreciate.
I can still remember the first time I met Kim in Lucky Chinatown Mall - a mall that's particularly close to my heart because it represents growth in an area where Kim and I both grew up in: Tondo-Binondo-Santa Cruz area in Manila - she humbly told me, "When I was starting out, ako talaga ang nagdedeliver ng mga binebenta ko at nakikipagmeet sa buyers. I'm happy to have been the bridge that connected Kimstore and MyPhone because I know that their partnership will greatly benefit Pinoy consumers by making it easier for them to purchase and get hold of the latest smartphones and tablets.
